I had a delightful one-night stay filled with warmth and comfort. The cozy lounge area with a crackling fire was perfect for unwinding after a long day, and the breakfast was fantastic with a great variety of freshly cooked options. The room was just right and the staff were incredibly welcoming, making me feel right at home! The only downside was that I wished I could have stayed longer to enjoy more of the offerings.

The Davaar House Hotel offered a lovely cozy atmosphere, with welcoming decor and comfortable common areas like the lounge, making it easy for seniors to relax and interact with the friendly hosts during my stay.

Improved heating in the rooms would be appreciated.

I stayed for a night and was pleasantly surprised by the warm atmosphere and clean accommodations. Annie and Russell were incredibly friendly, making me feel right at home. Breakfast was hearty with a variety of options available, perfect for fueling up for the day. I did notice the Wi-Fi could be improved for a better overall experience.

davaar house was super cozy, love the warm atmosphere here! the breakfast was yummm and filling, i really enjoyed the home cooked feel. the owners were also really nice people and made us feel welcome. room was clean and comfy, i had a good nights sleep for sure!

but the wifi was pretty terrible and i felt a bit chilly at night, could’ve used a better duvet.

Limited parking spaces could pose an issue during busy times, so planning ahead is recommended. A few amenities may feel dated to those accustomed to modern hotels, but this adds to the overall charm for some.

The hosts were delightful and our stay was made even better by the easy walk to both Pittencrieff Park and the stunning Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries, perfect for my weekend explorations. although breakfast could use a bit more variety, it was hearty and set us up nicely for the day ahead.
